GREENVILLE, S.C. - Mount Olive women's lacrosse goalie Ruby Burandt was awarded with defensive athlete of the week by the Conference on Monday after having two standout games against Belmont Abbey and University of Alabama Huntsville.

The Trojans defeated Alabama Huntsville and Belmont Abbey because to Burandt's strong goalkeeping. She made 10 saves in the 8-7 victory against Alabama Huntsville and 8 saves in the 11-7 victory over Belmont Abbey.
