MOUNT OLIVE – The University of Mount Olive women's lacrosse program has announced the addition of Sara Kilian as an assistant coach. Kilian joined the Trojans on August 1, 2026, bringing more than six years of collegiate coaching experience across the NCAA Division II and Division III levels.

Kilian arrives at Mount Olive after most recently serving as Interim Head Coach at Gannon University. She previously spent three seasons as an assistant coach with the Golden Knights, contributing to offensive development, scouting, game and practice strategy, recruiting and day-to-day program operations.

During her time at Gannon, Kilian helped mentor four All-Conference selections, including two First Team and two Second Team honorees, along with four conference Player of the Week recipients. She also played a key role in recruiting, helping bring 29 student-athletes into the program across three recruiting cycles.

Prior to Gannon, Kilian served as an assistant coach at Quincy University during the 2022-23 season, helping develop five All-Conference student-athletes and assisting with practice planning, scouting, game preparation and recruiting.

Kilian began her collegiate coaching career as a graduate assistant at Muskingum University from 2020-22, where she assisted with player development, recruiting, practice and game preparation and daily program operations.

In addition to her collegiate experience, Kilian has coached with the St. Louis Samurai Lacrosse Club and NXT LC Girls Lacrosse Club.
