SPARKS, Md. - On May 12th, 2026 USA Lacrosse announced the Division II All-Americans who had standout seasons one of these All-Americans included Mount Olive's own Simone McCraw who had a stellar junior season. 

McCraw a junior from Columbus, Ohio was the only Conference Carolinas women's lacrosse player awarded with this honor for the 2026 season after she produced milestone stats for her team at UMO. She played and started in all 16 games this season recording 43 ground balls, causing 42 turnovers, and won seven draw controls. McCraw hit a milestone 112 caused turnovers this season with a record game for her this season with six caused turnovers against Rockhurst Univeristy at the beginning of the season which is also a conference high.

Simone McCraw will enter her senior year with multiple awards including defensive player of the year from Conference Carolinas, first team all conference, and a defensive player of the week award.
