MOUNT OLIVE – The University of Mount Olive women's basketball program was recognized for its success in the classroom, earning special mention honors on the 2025-26 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls.

The Trojans posted a 3.407 team grade-point average, earning special mention recognition among NCAA women's basketball programs across the country.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls recognize collegiate women's basketball teams in their respective divisions that achieve the highest combined grade-point averages for the entire season. To be eligible, teams must maintain a combined GPA of 3.0 or higher and be nominated by their head coach, who must be a WBCA member.

The 2025-26 academic year marks the 31st season the WBCA has recognized women's basketball programs for their commitment to academic excellence through the Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls.
