MOUNT OLIVE — Two members of the University of Mount Olive women's basketball team earned selection to the 2025-26 Academic All-District Team, as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognizing their achievements both on the field and in the classroom.
The Academic All-District® program honors the nation's top student-athletes based on combined academic and athletic performance. All selections now advance for consideration on the national CSC Academic All-America® ballot, with first-, second-, and third-team honorees to be announced on April 15th.
Mount Olive's Academic All-District® honorees include:
- Savannah Mcafee — Senior, Business Management (3.64 GPA)
- Kayla Jackson — Senior, Accounting (3.51 GPA)
These two student-athletes met CSC's Academic All-District® standards, which require athletes to be at least sophomores academically and athletically, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and compete in at least 90 percent of their team's matches or start at least two-thirds of them.
