MOUNT OLIVE - The University of Mount Olive men's track & field and men's basketball Teams each garnered Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month laurels.

Henry Bullock, a freshman from Raleigh, earned indoor men's track & field Freshman of the Month after setting the school record in the 400 meters at the Marlins invitational with a time of 48.11.

Jaevian Alston, a freshman from Louisburg, earned men's basketball Freshman of the Month after recording three double-doubles whilst averaging 13.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game across eight starts. 

The track team heads to Winston - Salem, to compete in the Camel City Relays hosted by UNC Charlotte. Mount Olive men's basketball hosts Converse on church night this Saturday at 6pm.
