ST. AUGUSTINE, FL – Lavrans Broen Holm led the University of Mount Olive men's golf team with a third-place finish at the Jay Jennison Cup, firing a 5-under 67 in the final round to climb three spots.

Holm closed the tournament at 6-under 201, with his final-round 67 tied for the second-best score of the day.

Shawn Benson and Matthew Richardson each shot 3-over to tie for 36th, while Oscar Lönnqvist finished 58th at 6-over and Max Linblad placed 86th at 16-over.

As a team, Mount Olive tied for eighth at 6-over. Rollins won the title at 16-under, followed by Flagler (13-under), Eckerd (9-under), Barry (6-under), and Nova Southeastern (even).

The Trojans return to action Oct. 20-21 at the Bearcat Fall Classic.
