NINETY SIX, S.C. – The University of Mount Olive men's golf team finished tied for 10th at the Patriot Fall Classic hosted by Lander University, led by Oscar Lönnqvist's strong 11th-place showing.

Lönnqvist shot 4-under overall, carding 1-under scores in the first and third rounds and a 2-under in the second.

Lavrans Broen Holm followed in 43rd at 5-over, Shawn Benson placed 64th at 10-over, Max Lindblad finished 102nd at 20-over, and Matthew Richardson rounded out the lineup in 104th at 21-over.

Wingate claimed the team title at 30-under, followed by Lander (13-under), Saint Leo (11-under), Belmont Abbey (4-over), and Palm Beach Atlantic (5-over).

The Trojans will return to action at the Barton Fall Invitational at Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, N.C.
