Box Score Mount Olive, North Carolina - The No. 19 University of Mount Olive women's lacrosse team dominated Lees-McRae College 24-3 in Conference Carolinas action Saturday afternoon in Mount Olive, N.C.
INSIDE THE SCORE
The Trojans got the scoring started quickly with Emily Prentice finding Jordan Shughrue taking the lead 1-0. Lees-McRae was able to find the back of the net and put one away to tie the game 1-1 with 28:54 remaining. Mount Olive found their rhythm and shut down the Bobcats going on a 14-0 run to earn the running clock to end the first half 15-1.
UMO came out of half time, scoring seven more goals to push the lead 22-1 with 14:43 remaining in the game. The Bobcats got two more up on the scoreboard, but the Trojans finished strong to take the commanding victory 24-3.

The Trojans were led by Tiffany Lee with four goals and two assists.

The Bobcats were led by Makayla Willets with two goals.

The key moment of the game was in the first half, with the Trojans going on a 14-0 run to take the 15-1 lead to earn the running clock the remainder of the game.
