Box Score MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The University of Mount Olive women's lacrosse team defeated the Crusaders of North Greenville University 16-2 on senior day at the Ray McDonald Sr. Track & Field/Lacrosse Complex in Mount Olive, N.C. Lone senior Michaela Ciciarelli was honored prior to the game, during which she scored three goals.

Play-by-Play
FIRST HALF
- Amanda Berger got the scoring started first with a goal three minutes into the start of action.
- Kiara Burke sandwiched a pair of Jordan Shughrue goals that gave the Trojans a 5-0 lead before the first seven minutes were played.
- NGU got their first goal of the game just before the 20-minute mark putting the score at 5-1.
- Mount Olive closed out the half with four more goals, two from Ciciarelli and one more each for Burke and Shughrue as the Trojans entered halftime with a 9-1 lead.
SECOND HALF
- The Trojans scored six goals in the first 13 minutes of the second half opening up a 15-1 lead. Contributing to the UMO lead were three more goals by Shughrue and one each from Burke, Ciciarelli, and Casey Gover.
- Neither team scored for 15 minutes until Kali Ferguson put a goal in the back of the net with 92 seconds left in the game.
- NGU got the last goal in, however, as a shot connected with the net with six seconds remaining putting the final score at 16-2 with the Trojans coming out on top.
KEY STATS
- Jordan Shughrue lead all scorers with six goals in the game. She has 63 on the season and is just four away from tying the goals in a season record of 67, held by Riann Daziel.
- Kiara Burke tallied four goals for a hattrick during the game and Michaela Ciciarelli added three of her own.
- Sienna Miller (W: 4-1) picked up the win playing 41:05 minutes between the pipes. She made one save on two shots faced.
