Box Score FERRUM, Va. – The University of Mount Olive men's tennis team extended its winning streak to three matches with a dominant 7-0 victory over Ferrum on the road on Tuesday afternoon. With the win, the Trojans improve to 4-0 in conference play.

Mount Olive set the tone early by sweeping all three doubles matches. At No. 1 doubles, Kristoffer Dalbak and Bram Poel secured a 6-2 victory over Emanuel Ferreira and Tobi Teller. The No. 2 pair of Niklas Gruenefeldt and Rasmus Grindheim followed with a 6-3 win against Brian Karenzi and Sebastian Ondas, while Philip Peter Carstensen and Luke Oosthuizen completed the doubles sweep with a 6-3 decision at No. 3.

In singles play, the Trojans continued their dominance by winning all six matches in straight or three-set fashion. Dalbak battled back after dropping the first set to claim a 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 1. Poel followed with a hard-fought 7-5, 4-6, 6-1 win at No. 2. Grindheim delivered a strong performance at No. 3 with a 6-2, 6-2 win, while Hiroma Nishikata added a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 4.

Oosthuizen earned a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 5, and Joao Sonaglia closed out the sweep with a commanding 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 6.

Mount Olive will look to keep its momentum rolling as it travels to Spartanburg, S.C., to face Converse on Friday at 1 p.m.
