Mount Olive (January 28) - The University of Mount Olive women's track & field program reentered the NCAA Division II U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Rankings at No. 13 overall out of 128 Division II schools in the nation. The women's team is also ranked second in the Southeast Region, just below Wingate by only 54.9 points.
The Trojans climbed 32 spots in the rankings to break the top 15 for the first time this season in the USTFCCCA National TFRI: Track & Field rating index with 66.18 points. Mount Olive holds 5 top-10 marks in the country, including Senior
Haniyyah Johnson, ranked first in the Long Jump for the first time in her career. The Chart below displays the individual national rankings for the Trojans the contributed to their 66.18 points in teh national poll. Mount Olive and Wingate are the only women's track & field programs featured from the Southeast Region in the top 10.
