NEW ORLEANS - The UMO Trojans are great once again on the track but also in the classroom.  The Women's Track and Field Program was recognized by the USTFCCCA as an All-Academic Team for the 8^th consecutive season.  The Men's Track and field team was additionally able to receive 5 individual honors.  To receive the honor, the individual athletes must have a 3.25 individual GPA and finished in the top 50 individuals in their event at the end of the season or competed at the National Championships.  As a team, to receive All-Academic Team status, a program must obtain a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher.  Coach Earl Graves said,
"We had a great year in the classroom once again.  We're proud of the 10 individuals and our women's team for achieving this honor.  This is the 8^th consecutive year that our women have been an all-academic team.  It always impresses me how they balance coursework, training, travel, and competitions throughout the school year."
