GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 12) – A total of 347 University of Mount Olive student-athletes, representing all sports (fall, winter, and spring), were named to the Spring Presidential Honor Roll Presented by Southern Recognition LLC on Thursday.

The Presidential Honor Roll, compiled at the end of the fall and spring semesters, recognizes student-athletes who have earned a 3.20 grade-point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale. A student-athlete that earned a GPA between 3.20-3.59 is recognized as cum laude, a student-athlete that earned a GPA between 3.60-3.99 is recognized as magna cum laude and a student-athlete that earned a GPA of 4.0 is recognized as summa cum laude.

In terms of pure numbers, women's soccer led all sports with 35 representatives on the Honor Roll, followed by baseball (32), women's track & field/cross country (32), men's soccer (29), and women's lacrosse (29). The Trojans featured a total of 60 student-athletes with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

The UMO student-athletes were among the nearly 4,000 recipients from the Conference Carolinas.
