The Division II Baseball Championship finals have been hosted in Cary for 15 of the past 16 events. The NCAA officially announced a long-term extension in early December for the NCAA Division II Baseball National Championship to remain at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina, through 2038. The agreement is believed to be just the fourth-ever long-term contract in Division II and ensures Mount Olive and Cary will become the longest-hosting partnership in NCAA Division II baseball history.
