Central, SC- The University of Mount Olive men's soccer team earned a tie against Southern Wesleyan Saturday evening in a battle away from home. 

The Trojans were unable to find the back of the net but were able to continue bringing pressure against a tight defense from Southern Wesleyan.  Joao Barboza Filho continues to bring offensive pressure with two shots on goal.  Juan Gonzalez-Gancedo and Rami Bayoumi also helped bring pressure on the offensive side of the field.

Nick Cutlip was given an easy day between the posts with no shots threatening in between the posts.  The team records the second shutout of the season, leading to impressive defensive stands in the middle of the season. 

Mount Olive will face off against Ferrum on Oct. 7 in Ferrum, VA.
