GREENVILLE, S.C. (Jan. 24) – After making an eighth trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2024, the University of Mount Olive men's tennis program was picked fourth overall in the preseason Conference Carolinas poll, which was announced by the league office on Friday morning.
In 2024, the Trojans earned an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history while finishing the season with an impressive 17-6 overall mark. Mount Olive made a fantastic run through the league tournament with three victories to reach the championship match, including defeating the No. 1 seed Young Harris by a 4-0 margin. The Trojans ultimately finished as the runner-up, but the deep run allowed UMO to return to the national stage for the first time since 2021. Mount Olive enters the 2025 spring under the leadership of head coach Julieta Boerr.
