Mount Olive D2ADA Academic Achievement Award Recipients
CLEVELAND (Aug. 7) – A total of 166 University of Mount Olive student-athletes, representing all sports, earned Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Awards for the past academic year.
The Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the NCAA Division II level. In order to receive the Academic Achievement Award, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college, and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during their last academic year.
The UMO student-athletes were part of 1,070 Academic Achievement Award honorees from the Conference Carolinas and featured the third-most recipients in the league. Overall, a record-breaking total of 19,774 student-athletes from 192 institutions were recognized.
