Wilson, N.C. --- The UMO Women's and Men's Golf teams are currently 1st and 6th respectively after day one at the Bulldog Intercollegiate hosted by Barton College Monday afternoon. The Trojans were highlighted by
Emma Leclercq who leads the women's field.
Tournament Information
The Trojans women hold a 13 shot lead over second-place Spring Hill College as UMO sits atop the field after a 315 round one.
The Mount Olive men are currently 6th after a 309-298-607 day one.

Trojan Leaders (Women)
Emma Leclercq (72) leads the Trojans and the field after shooting even par along with four birdies in round one. All other scoring Trojans are inside the top-10.
Linn Andersson (80) is 5th,
Elise Davies (81) is 6th and
Victoria Morelli (82) is T7th.
Grace Olmstead is 14th after an 86 in the first round.
Stephanie Rodrigue (85) is competing as an individual and is tied for 11th. Kenzie Stutts (140) is also competing as an individual and is T23.
Trojan Leaders (Men)
Brice Ballin (74-75-149) registered two birdies in his second round to be in a tie for 24th. Ruben van der Berg (78-72-150) had a team-high three birdies in the second round to move to 27th.
Arthur Heinbach (80-74-154) is 35th and
Cade Hancock (77-79-156) is T40 to round out the Trojan card.
Edvin Perman (83-77-160) hit even par in 10-of-18 holes in his second round sitting 46th.
Gabriel Elkholm (75-80-155) and
Chandler Perry (79-77-156) both played as individuals and are T36 and T40 respectively.
