MOUNT OLIVE, North Carolina --- Mount Olive's Mary Brigid Keck and Jon Wojcuich earned a selection to the 2022 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field National Championships and will begin competing in pursuit of a National Championship Friday, March 11. The men's weight throw begins at 3:25 p.m. est and the women will follow.
INSIDE THE MEET
Mary Brigid Keck earned her spot in the National Meet with a throw of 18.54m in the weight throw. She threw this mark during the Indoor Conference Carolinas Track Meet back in February. The women's weight throw competition is set to start competing at 5:55pm est on Friday March 11th.
Jon Wojcuich secured his spot in the National Meet with a mark of 19.49m in the hammer throw. Wojcuich threw this mark during the JDL Fast Track Invitational back in January. The men's weight throw competition is set to begin at 3:25pm est on Friday March 11th.
The two Track and Field throwers are set to compete on Friday March 11th in Pittsburg KS. This is the first time any throwers from the University of Mount Olive, Conference Carolinas, or the Southeast Region have qualified for the Indoor National Championship.
