WINSTON-SALEM, NC – On Sunday the Trojans competed at the JDL Early Bird Invitational with a stand out athlete who ran in the 600m.
Mount Olive athletes competed in the men's 600m, men's/women's 800m, 1 mile, and 3000m. The Sophomore
Titus Tanui placed fourth in the men's 600m with a time of 1:22.77.
For the men's 800m,
Spencer Rundell ran a time of 2:04.89 and
Adam Hill ran a 2:38.74.
Only one athlete competed in the men's mile, Ben Bailey, with a time of 4:47.50 placing 21
st and
Peyton Roebuck placed 16
th in the women's mile with a time of 5:57.66.
Six competed in the men's 3000m Artem Meeltisaev placed 15
th with a time of 8:56.61,
Leo Powell ran a 9:20.14,
Evan Hall 9:35.15,
Ayden Thompson 9:40.25,
Devon Coughlin 10:31.52, and
Josh Hendren DNS.
UMO will start their indoor season back up on January 9
th where they will be competing in the VCU Rams Invitational in Richmond, VA.
