MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. --- The University of Mount Olive recently recognized all of the 2021 championship teams over the last month. The teams were honored during UMO men's basketball games.

Men's Tennis won the regular-season and tournament championships after going 12-4, 7-1 last season. The season ended in the opening round of the NCAA Southeast Regional.

Women's Tennis won the regular-season after going 13-2, 8-1 last season. The season ended in the finals of the conference tournament.

Baseball won the regular-season after going 37-12, 27-5 last season, earning a season-high No. 5 national ranking. The seaosn ended in the NCAA Southeast Regional

Men's Indoor & Outdoor Track & Field won both the indoor and outdoor conference championships. In the outdoor championship, the Trojans collected 268 total team points their second most in program history and defeated the runners-up by a margin of 149 points, which is the largest differential in school history. 

Women's Outdoor Track & Field won the conference championship for the seventh consecutive year. The Trojans collected 158 total team points defeating the runners-up by two points as the victory for UMO came down to the final event the 4x400m and with their finish, gave Mount Olive the Championship.

Men's Lacrosse won the regular-season after going 11-3, 5-1 last season, earning a season-high No. 8 national ranking. The Trojans season ended in the opening round for the NCAA Tournament, their second appearance since the program started.

Women's Lacrosse won the regular-season and tournament championships after going 13-2, 8-0 last season, earning them a season-high No. 17 national ranking. The Trojans also earned their first NCAA Tournament appearance last season falling to national ranked Limestone in overtime.

Men's Golf won the program's first Conference Carolinas Team Championship last season. The championship came down to a playoff, unique in that in no playoff has been needed in at least 20 years of competition. The championship also secured UMO's first NCAA Tournament birth, where the season ultimately ended.

Women's Soccer won their second consecutive tournament championship after going 8-2, 4-2 last season. The NCAA tournament was canceled due to Covid-19.

Men's Volleyball won the conference regular-season championship after going 13-4, 11-2 last season. UMO earned the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, but fell in the finals.
