University of Mount Olive finished off a weekend road trip with a 22-25, 25-17, 25-13, 25-20 victory over Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Ga. for Conference Carolinas men's volleyball. Mount Olive recovered from an opening set loss to take the final three sets of the match.

Peyton Schirman led the Trojans with 14 kills and added six digs. Bret Rutledge had 13 kills with a .444 hitting percentage and four digs. Jeff Yasalonis and Ryan Thomas both contributed 10 digs.

Mount Olive will remain on the road as the Trojans head to University Park, Pa. to take on Division I Penn State University on Saturday February 6 at 7 p.m.
