Mount Olive – Emma King was selected to the second team All-American honors by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.   King put the entire nation on notice with her productivity at the plate and stellar defense.  The sophomore looks to build on her season in 2027.
King finished the season as the second-best batter in the history of Mount Olive, amassing a .500 batting average, which ranked 4^th in the nation.  She followed this up with the 15^th best hits with 85 and a top 10 finish for OBS at a staggering .550.  Just pouring on the heat, King had 28 multi-hit games this season with a hitting streak of 12 games in a row.   She also finished the season by amassing 44 runs, 43 RBIs, and was struck out only 14 times out of 170 at-bats this season.
