The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) released its All-Southeast Region Softball teams on Monday afternoon, and the University of Mount Olive had a pair of student-athletes recognized as sophomore infielder Emma King and senior utility player Samantha Taylor earned all-region honors. King collected First Team All-Southeast Region accolades, while Taylor was named to the Second Team.

The all-region recognition adds to an already impressive postseason for the Trojan duo, who both played key roles in helping Mount Olive compete among the top programs in the Conference Carolinas throughout the 2026 campaign.

King turned in one of the top offensive seasons in the region, batting .500 with 85 hits, including eight doubles, two triples, and three home runs while driving in 43 runs and scoring 44 more. The sophomore finished the year with a .624 slugging percentage and a .550 on-base percentage, while adding 18 walks and 14 stolen bases. King started all 56 games for the Trojans and ranked among the conference leaders in both batting average and hits throughout the season.

Taylor also pieced together a standout campaign for Mount Olive, batting .410 with 75 hits, including 19 doubles, three triples, and 12 home runs, while driving in 47 runs and scoring 47 more. The senior slugged .743 on the season with a .445 on-base percentage and added 14 stolen bases, helping provide one of the most dangerous bats in the Trojan lineup throughout the year. Taylor ranked among the league leaders in extra-base hits and home runs while starting 55 games for Mount Olive.

The D2CCA All-America teams will be announced later this month, with First Team selections advancing to the national ballot.
