Grant Earns Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week Honors

MOUNT OLIVE - Mount Olive senior opposite Kory Grant has been named Men's Volleyball Player of the Week following a standout performance across two matches last week.

Grant played a key role in Mount Olive's success, averaging 4.86 kills, 1.86 digs, and 0.57 blocks per set. He opened the week with a dominant all-around effort in a win over North Greenville Crusaders, finishing with 19 kills, 11 digs, and three blocks. He followed that performance with 15 kills and two digs against Belmont Abbey Crusaders, continuing to anchor the Trojans' offense at the net.

A senior from Pembroke Pines, Florida, Grant's consistency and leadership have been instrumental for Mount Olive as the team continues its spring slate.

The Trojans will now turn their attention to a marquee matchup, traveling to face Hawai?i Rainbow Warriors in Honolulu, Hawai?i, on Thursday, March 12, as part of the OUTRIGGER Invitational.
