Kory Grant Earns Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week Honors

MOUNT OLIVE – Senior opposite Kory Grant of the Mount Olive men's volleyball team has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week following a standout weekend in a pair of Trojan victories.

Grant posted a .397 hitting percentage while totaling 37 kills across the two matches, recording double-digit kills in both outings with 15 against Charleston (W.Va.) and a match-high 22 versus Fort Valley State. He added 19 digs, 10.0 total blocks, and 44.5 total points, contributing on both sides of the net.

The Trojans return to action Friday with a Conference Carolinas matchup at Lees-McRae, scheduled for 6 p.m. in Banner Elk, North Carolina.
