HILTON HEAD, S.C. — The University of Mount Olive women's golf team competed at the Battle of Hilton Head, hosted by Lincoln Memorial University, on the coast of South Carolina at Palmetto Dunes Golf Club.
Facing a strong 19-team field that included multiple nationally ranked programs, the Trojans finished 15th overall. The tournament featured ranked teams such as Wingate University (#1), University of North Georgia (#9), Lander University (#16), University of Indianapolis (#10), and Lenoir-Rhyne University (#30), highlighting the depth and competitiveness of the field.
Wingate captured the team title at +18, followed by Lander (+38), North Georgia (+41), Lincoln Memorial (+43), and Erskine College (+45) to round out the top five.
Individually for Mount Olive, Lucie Levet paced the Trojans with a tie for 41st finish at +22.
Elin Kennborn followed with a T-65 showing at +32, while
Violette Daudin placed T-71 at +36.
Aoi Ito finished 78th at +38, and
Valentina Agostino rounded out the lineup with an 80th-place finish at +41.
Mount Olive will return to action March 10–11 at the Jerry Surratt Memorial Intercollegiate, hosted by Wingate University, in Monroe, N.C.
