GREENVILLE, S.C. – The University of Mount Olive women's golf team was selected to finish third in the Conference Carolinas Preseason Poll, as announced by the league office Thursday morning.
The Trojans totaled 101 points, finishing behind Erskine, which claimed first place with 121 points and 11 first-place votes, and Emmanuel, which placed second with 110 points and one first-place vote. Belmont Abbey (80 points) and UNC Pembroke (69 points) rounded out the top five.
Levet earned All-Conference honors last season and is joined by Ito and Beitel, who are coming off strong fall performances and look to carry that momentum into the spring.
Mount Olive opens its spring season at the Battle at Hilton Head, held Feb. 16–17 in Hilton Head Island, S.C.
