Montgomery, AL- Mount Olive women's wrestling delivered a strong two-day performance at the Red Lady event, controlling the duals on Day 1 and competing aggressively in the open tournament on Day 2.
Day 1 — Red Lady Duals
Mount Olive went 3–1 in dual action, scoring decisively in three matchups and finishing the day with momentum.
The Trojans opened with a 34–15 win over McMurry (TX), building an early lead through bonus points. Mount Olive followed with a 38–11 victory over Huntingdon (AL), extending separation with quick scores across the lineup.
The 7th-ranked team in the nation, Presbyterian (SC), handed Mount Olive its lone loss of the day, 42–6, before the Trojans rebounded with a 36–10 win over Randolph (VA) to close the duals.
Day 2 — Red Lady Open
Mount Olive carried its pace into the open tournament, producing consistent scoring and multiple bonus-point wins across the brackets. The Trojans attacked early, finished matches quickly, and logged valuable mat time against a deep field.
