"I'm honored to serve as the new Head Tennis Coach at the University of Mount Olive. I want to thank Mr. Higginbotham, Ms. Gurley, Dr. Cates, and Mr. Woodard for giving me this incredible opportunity and for placing their trust in me. Mount Olive has a proud history and a tradition of excellence, and I'm committed to building on that strong foundation. My goal is to foster a team culture where student-athletes thrive both on and off the court—competing with intensity, supporting one another, and representing the university with pride. My family and I are excited to become part of the Mount Olive community. We look forward to getting to work and contributing to a program that the alumni, university, and broader community can continue to be proud of."
He started his coaching career in 2015, where he coached club soccer, eventually serving as a student manager to the men's soccer team at West Virginia. Sendek continued developing soccer players until 2022, when he became the head tennis coach and assistant compliance director at Georgia Southwestern State University.
