84 Trojans earn D2ADA Academic Achievement Award

CLEVELAND (Aug. 15) – A total of 84 University of Mount Olive student-athletes, representing all sports, earned Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Awards for the past academic year.

The Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the NCAA Division II level. In order to receive the Academic Achievement Award, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college, and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during their last academic year.

The UMO student-athletes were part of 1,177 Academic Achievement Award honorees from the Conference Carolinas. Overall, a record-breaking total of 22,740 student-athletes from 202 institutions were recognized.
