Alan Usher became a consensus All-American selection after garnering Third-Team All-American honors from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) on Thursday afternoon.
Usher is a two-time All-American recipient from the USILA after being tabbed as honorable mention by the organization as a junior. He becomes a consensus All-American selection following his selection by USA Lacrosse last week.
A native of Crofton, Maryland, Usher was just the second-ever, two-time Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Year in league history. He entered the season as a preseason All-American by USA Lacrosse and was named to the 2025 All-Conference Carolinas First-Team. Usher led a Trojan defense that finished first in the Conference Carolinas in man-down defense (.741) and ground balls per game (35.71). Additionally, UMO ranked second in the league with a 9.64 scoring defense while sitting third in caused turnovers per game (9.86). He tallied 19 caused turnovers while forcing at least three in four contests. He added 22 ground balls while starting all 14 games.
