Morgan, White Earn All-Conference Honors After Outstanding Championship Finishes

KERNERSVILLESenior Hailey Morgan delivered the best finish by a Mount Olive women's cross country runner since 2019, placing second at the Conference Carolinas Championships.

Morgan clocked 22:55.20 in the women's 6k, earning All-Conference First Team honors—the fastest time for UMO since Leah Hanle's 21:23.8 title run in 2019.

Alexandria White also earned All-Conference recognition, placing 13th with a time of 23:57.70 to secure Second Team honors.

This marks the first time since 2021 that multiple Trojans earned All-Conference awards. That year, Laila Abouzaid made First Team, Vennise Shelton Second Team, and Sydney Macdonald Third Team.

Rounding out the Trojans, Danielle Johnston finished 23rd (24:25.50), followed by Natalie Baldwin in 41st (26:13.29), Peyton Roebuck in 52nd (26:52.22), Audrey Nelson in 70th (28:04.91), Victoria Badgett in 95th (30:51.35), and Maia Edmisten in 96th (30:52.21).

Mount Olive placed fourth overall, its best team finish since 2021, behind North Greenville, Converse, and Lees-McRae.

The Trojans have two weeks off before competing in the NCAA Southeast Regional in Wingate, NC on Saturday, Nov. 8.
