Trojans Finish 12th at Queen City Invitational

Charlotte - The University of Mount Olive women's cross country team finished 12th at the Queen City Invitational on Friday evening, totaling 350 points in the 5K race hosted by Queens University of Charlotte.

Claire Aponte led the Trojans individually, crossing the finish line in 19:38.7. Danielle Johnston followed with a time of 19:53.0, while Alexandria White finished in 19:56.9.

Raven Richardson recorded a time of 21:09.8, and Victoria Badgett rounded out Mount Olive's listed finishers with a time of 26:22.1. Maia Edmisten was listed as a DNS.

Mount Olive finished 12th among the 26 teams competing in the women's race. Elon captured the team title with 24 points, followed by Charlotte with 63 points and Marshall with 75 points.

The Trojans will continue their 2026 season with their next scheduled meet at the Dill Family Foundation on Oct. 2 in Greenville.
