Logan Hibbard was selected the Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Week by the league office on Monday afternoon.
A native of Rochester, New York, Hibbard totaled 21 points behind 13 goals and eight assists, while adding 16 draw controls, nine caused turnovers, and 11 ground balls, as the Trojans went 3-0 in conference play last week. On Monday, she led the team with an eight-point performance after tallying five goals and three assists in a 24-11 win over Barton. She also registered four caused turnovers, three draw controls, and four ground balls against the Bulldogs.
Against Chowan on Wednesday, Hibbard once again paced the Trojans with four goals and two assists while totaling six draw controls, two caused turnovers, and four ground balls in a 19-1 win. On Saturday, she produced a seven-point performance with four goals and three assists in a 28-2 victory over Lees-McRae to clinch the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. She also added seven draw controls, three caused turnovers, and three ground balls against the Bobcats.
The Trojans will return to Conference Carolinas play on Wednesday, April 17, to face Converse on the road at 4:30 p.m.
