DUNCAN, S.C. - The 2021 Softball regular season concluded this past weekend. Mount Olive finished with a 21-13 record overall and 14-6 in conference play, seeding them second in the upcoming Conference Carolinas Championship. The Trojans first action in the double elimination championship comes this Thursday, April 22nd, at 4 p.m. as they take on the seventh seeded Southern Wesleyan. 

TOURNAMENT INFO
The 2021 Conference Carolinas Championship is being held in Duncan, South Carolina. The championship runs from Thursday, April 22nd through Sunday, the 25h, with the finals taking place at noon. 

TROJANS ODDS
The Trojans come into the championship having split their last three series. Though, optimism surrounds the team as they boast a conference leading batting average of .340 and are second in fielding percentage, posting a 0.971%. Individually, the Trojans have four hitters in top ten batting average for Conference Carolinas, led by Kylie Emanuele's .465 mark, and followed by Courtlynn Cooney's .416 average. Defensively, Emma Mooney has a perfect fielding percentage, 1.000%, with 53 putouts. 

After Covid-19 prevented a Championship being held in 2020, the Trojans look to bounce back in 2021 after a quick exit in the 2019 championship.
