Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 DUE WEST, S.C. - The Trojans continued their road weekend Saturday. Traveling from Georgia to South Carolina to take on Erskine College in a doubleheader. The Trojans dropped the series, losing game one, 4-2, and game two, 2-1, in eight innings. 

GAME ONE INFORMATION
Mallory Ratcliff got her second start of the weekend for the Trojans. Ratcliff sat down the Flying Fleet's first three batters to end inning one. Sending the game scoreless into inning two. Both pitchers were in a groove early. Each only allowing one hit through three innings. Erskine College was the first to strike on the scoreboard. Following a leadoff walk in the top of the fourth inning, the Flying Fleet's Shi Cain doubled in a run, giving Erskine the lead, 1-0 through four innings.

After a quick fifth inning, the Trojans offense found a spark in the sixth inning. With the bases loaded Cana Shrock singled home Courtlynn Cooney, tying the game at one a piece. Hannah Killough came to bat next, sending a sacrifice fly out to right field scoring Cassandra Lassiter and taking the lead 2-1. Ratcliff stifled the Flying Fleet's offense in the bottom of the sixth inning, leading to an exciting seventh inning. The Trojans were unable to get things going in the top of the seventh, taking a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the inning. The first batter flied out to right field. Then Kelci Brown earned a walk, followed by a double, leading to runners on second and third with one out. Cain came to bat and struck again, hitting a three-run homerun to right center and winning the game in walk-off fashion, 4-2. 

KEY MOMENT
Down one run in the bottom of the seventh, the Flying Fleet scored three runs off an homerun, taking the game 4-2.

Cana Shrock finished with one hit and one RBI.

Shi Cain had two hits and four RBI. 

GAME TWO INFORMATION
Game two began with Courtlynn Cooney and Megan Bryant both getting on base and showing off their wheels by stealing a base but were left stranded by Flying Fleet's starting pitcher, Hannah Houge. Hannah Killough got the start for the Trojans in game two. After allowing a leadoff single, Killough struck out the next two batters she faced. With two outs, the Flying Fleet scored one run via a passed ball, putting them up 1-0 through one inning. Much like the first game, it was a pitchers dual. Both pitchers were dialed in, and moving quickly through the lineups. Through the first five innings, each pitcher only allowed a combined six hits. 

Leading off for the Trojans in the top of the sixth inning Alexis Oliver launched a homerun over the center field wall, giving the Trojans life and tying the game at one a pice. Killough did her part, keeping Erskine off the scoreboard in the bottom of the sixth inning. Following a scoreless seventh inning the teams headed into extra innings. The Trojans weren't able to get anything brewing in the top of the eighth. With a runner on second and third base, Sydney Mcinnis singled up the middle, scoring the winning run, and sealing a Flying Fleet victory, 2-1.

In extra innings with two runners on base, Sydney Mcinnis singled home the winning run for the Flying Fleet.
