MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The Trojans hosted the Coker University Cobras on Friday afternoon for their fourth game of the seson. The Trojans fell 4-1.
GAME INFORMATION
Two minutes into quarter one,
Kaylin Holdeman got the Trojans on the board scoring off a rebound from
Eline Udo's shot, putting the Trojans up 1-0. In the next thirteen minutes each team only registered one shot on goal, with the goaltenders stopping both. One minute into the second quarter goalkeeper
Railyn King shut the door on a shot from the Cobras preserving the Trojans one goal lead. Eleven minutes later the Cobras found the back of the net, tying the game at one a piece. With one minute left to go in the first half the Cobras scored another goal, giving them a 2-1 lead heading into halftime.
Carrying momentum over from the first half the Cobras' Britt Kabo scored her second goal of the day, extending the Cobras lead to 3-1. King faced one more shot on goal in the third quarter, turning it away to keep the Trojans deficit at two. The Cobras played stingy defense in the fourth quarter, blanking the Trojans while adding another goal. The Cobras won the game 4-1.
