With nearly a decade of coaching experience at multiple levels across the NCAA, Brittney Randolph enters her first year as head coach at the University of Mount Olive in 2025.
Randolph joins the Trojans after serving as the head coach in 2024 at Washington & Jefferson College of the North Coast Athletic Conference. During her one season with Presidents, she mentored 2024 All-NCAC Second-Team selection Lily Giering while featuring four NFHCA Scholars of Distinction and 11 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad members.
She serves a head coach at Beyond Sports Tours in Spain, leading and managing Division I, II, and III student-athletes during an international tour to ensure high-level training and performance. Randolph also works as a site director & lead coach at USA Field Hockey and the Pittsburgh Nexus Olympic Development program, the first-ever Nexus site in Western Pennsylvania.
Prior to W&J, Randolph served as the head coach at Mercyhurst University from 2020-2023. She instructed 12 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Scholars of Distinction, 28 PSAC Scholar-Athletes, four NFHCA Senior All-Star Game recipients. Her teams earned four NFHCA Senior All-Star Game recipients.
She also has collegiate coaching experience as an assistant at Smith College (2019) and Division II Shippensburg University (2017-18). While with the Shippensburg Raiders, the program captured the Division II National Championships in both 2017 and 2018. The coaching staff at Shippensburg was honored as Coaching Staff of the Year twice. Three Raiders were named NFHCA All-Americans during her tenure.
Randolph competed as a student-athlete at Mercyhurst University (2010-14) while also being a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and part of the Leadership Training Program.
She received her bachelor’s degree in biology with a concentration in pre-medicine from Mercyhurst University in 2014 before earning a master’s degree in exercise and sport studies from Smith College.
