Box Score 2 Pembroke, North Carolina. - The University of Mount Olive softball team split a non-conference doubleheader with UNC Pembroke 12-3, 9-1 on Wednesday afternoon in Pembroke, North Carolina
GAME ONE INFORMATION
The Trojans started off scoring two runs in the top of the first inning from a home run by Madison Morgan. UNC Pembroke added three runs themselves in the bottom of the first inning to take the lead 3-2. Morgan tied the score at 3-3 with her second home run of the game in the top of the third inning.
UMO added three more runs in the top of the fifth inning coming from a two-run double and a single to push their lead to 6-3. In the top of the sixth inning, the Trojan offense added another three runs to extend take the to lead 9-3. The Trojan secured the win after adding three more runs in the top of the seventh inning coming from a home run from Eileen Barrera to win 12-3.

GAME TWO INFORMATION
The Braves scored first in the bottom on the first inning to grab the 1-0 lead. UMO added a run of their own in the top of the third inning thanks to a double by Madison Morgan. UNC Pembroke took the 5-1 lead in the bottom of the third inning off a grand slam. The Braves continued to add to their lead in the bottom of the fourth inning and pushed the lead to 8-1. UNCP added one more run in the bottom of the sixth inning and closed out game two with the 9-1.
