Box Score 2 MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The University of Mount Olive softball team won the doubleheader against Alderson Broaddus and Winston-Salem State 2-0, 3-6 on Sunday afternoon in Mount Olive, N.C.
GAME ONE INFORMATION
Mount Olive and Alderson Broaddus stayed 0-0 until the bottom of the fourth inning when Mount Olive took the lead 1-0. Mount Olive scored after an error by an Alderson Broaddus outfielder. Mount Olive added to the lead with a hit by a pitch in the bottom of the sixth inning pushing the score to 2-0. Mount Olive won the game 2-0.
TROJAN LEADERS
The Trojan offense was led by Eileen Barrera who had two hits and Madison Morgan who had one RBI.
ALDERSON BROADDUS LEADERS
Alderson Broaddus were led by Brianna Burger and Hailee Culbertson who both had one hit.

The key moment the Trojans added two runs in the last three innings to win the game.
GAME TWO INFORMATION
Mount Olive started off the game with one run in the bottom of the first inning. The Trojans led until the top of the fifth inning when the Rams added one run to tie the score 1-1. The Rams continued with their offense and added two runs in the top of the sixth inning to put them up 3-1. In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Trojans added five runs, capitalized with Alyssa Pickle's three-run home run that gave the Trojans the walk-off win 6-3.
TROJAN LEADERS
The Trojans were led by Alyssa Pickle who went 2-3 with four RBIs and a home run. Eileen Barrera also went 1-4 with two RBIs.
WINSTON-SALEM STATE
The Rams were led by Aniyah Jones who went 2-3 with two RBIs. Tia Robinson added one hit and one RBI.
KEY MOMENT
The key moment was when Mount Olive scored five runs with a three-run home run in the seventh inning.
