HILTON HEAD, South Carolina – Freshman Emma Leclercq carded a 75 to lead the No. 24 University of Mount Olive to a 6th place finish at the Battle At Hilton Head at the Robert Trent Jones-Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort in Hilton Head, S.C. on Monday afternoon. The Trojans jumped up three spots in the final round.
 
Tournament Information
The Trojans improved from the first round seeing all but one member improve their day one score and had three Trojans inside the top-35 out of 87 golfers. Mount Olive took 6th/17 teams with a 310-306-616 team score. The field had five teams inside the top 25 in the NCAA DII Golfstat Rankings including the Trojans of UMO. Mount Olive also defeated No. 12 Simon Fraser and No. 21 Lenior-Rhyne.
 
Trojan Leaders
Emma Leclercq was the sole Trojan inside the top-15 as she led UMO with a 76-75-151 and finished t-11. Lindsey Burton shot identical 77's to sit T-26. Linn Bergman (77-79-156) was the final Trojan inside the top-35 as she finished T-33. Johanna Andersson (80-78-158) rounded out the Trojans team card taking T-42 in the field. Burton tied for second in par three scoring shooting one-under for the tournament.
