HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The University of Mount Olive softball team took two wins on the first day of the Coker Classic against Bloomsburg University and Fairmont St. 4-3, 3-2 on Saturday morning in Hartsville, South Carolina.

GAME ONE INFORMATION
The Huskies got an early start with one run at the bottom of the second inning leading 1-0 with an RBI by Julia Knight. Mount Olive responded quickly at the top of the third with Eileen Barerra doubling to right-center allowing, Madison Morgan to score and tie the game 1-1.

In the top of the sixth Megan Bryant gave the Trojans the 3-1 lead with two RBI's scoring Olivia Gachuz and Cassandra Lassiter. Bloomsburg was able to get one unanswered run to home plate in the bottom of the sixth but still trailed 3-2.

Mount Olive's Madison Morgan capitalized for the Trojans by hitting a double to left field. Allowing Amber Parker to score, pushing the Trojans lead to 4-2 at the top of the seventh. The Huskies were able to respond with one more run in the bottom of the seventh, but it would not be enough as the Trojans took the win 4-3.

The Trojans offense was led by Madison Morgan with a run and an RBI.
BLOOMSBURG UNIVERSITY LEADERS
The Huskies Trojans were led by Sammi Starr with one run.  

KEY MOMENT
The key moment came in the top of the sixth with Megan Bryant giving the Trojans the 3-1 lead with two RBI.

GAME TWO INFORMATION
Mount Olive took the lead in the bottom of the second on a Fairmont State error and took an early 1-0 lead.

Fairmont State added two runs in the top of the fifth with two RBI by Courtney Worcester leading 2-1. Mount Olive then tied the game at two by adding an unearned run by Amber Elliot to end the fifth inning.

Mount Olive took the lead 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth with an RBI by Hannah Burress and was able to hold off FSU in the top of the seventh for the 3-2 win.

The Trojans were led by Hannah Burress with a run and an RBI. 

FAIRMONT STATE LEADERS
Fairmont State was led by Courtney Worcester with one RBI.

KEY MOMENT
The key moment came in the bottom of the sixth with an RBI by Hannah Burress to put Mount Olive in the lead 3-2.
