Women's Golf Finishes 9th In Battle @ Old South

BLUFFTON, S.C. - The University of Mount Olive women's golf team moved up one spot on the final day to take 9th at the Battle @ Old South in Bluffton, S.C. Sunday afternoon. Johanna Andersson finished in a tie for 11th lead the Trojans in the individual field.

Johanna Andersson led the way for the Trojans and tied for 11th shooting a 75 in the second round to follow up two over par first round.
Linn Bergman improved by nine shots on day two to move up seven spots on the leaderboard.
Mount Olive finished in the middle of a very tough nationally ranked field as #5 Saint Leo (5th), #7 Florida Southern (2nd), #9 Flagler (5th), #16 Lee (1st), #18 Wingate (6th), #23 Lenoir-Rhyne (7th), and #31 North Georgia (3rd) finished ahead of #63 Mount Olive. The Trojans, however, topped #24 West Georgia (T-12th) and Division I Savannah State (17th).
