FIRST QUARTER
- Belmont Abbey took the early momentum as a UMO penalty proved costly as the Crusaders scored the man-up goal with 12:21 left to take a 1-0 lead.
- Mount Olive did not seem phased as Austin Whitlow pounced on the opportunity to find an equalizer and scored for UMO with 9:54 to knot the game up.
- The Trojans then went on a three-goal run to take a 4-1 lead with 4:08 remaining with goals from Gunner Parson, Tyler Keele, and Brody Sullivan.
- BAC then ended the quarter with a goal to bring the Trojan lead down to two.
SECOND QUARTER
- The Crusaders once again started off the quarter with the first score to draw to within one, 4-3, with 14:23.
- Jacob Ball answered off a pass from Gunner Parson and pushed the lead back out to two.
- Following a Crusader goal, Thatcher Clark and Tyler Keele gave Mount Olive its biggest lead of the game at 7-4 with 5:55 remaining in the quarter.
- The two squads exchanged goals over the next five minutes and ended the first half with an 8-5 lead for the Trojans.
THIRD QUARTER
- The third quarter saw goals by Cody Graden and Scott Dagnanleach and Mount Olive held onto its three-goal lead 10-7 as the quarter drew to a close.
FOURTH QUARTER
- Mount Olive outscored the Crusaders in the final frame as Keele, Clark, and Parson all scored as the Trojans held off any chance of a Crusaders comeback and took down the No. 14 team.
