Vanderkley and Logue Both Receive Second Team All-Conference for Men's Lacrosse

GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 22) - Before the 2026 men's lacrosse Championship semifinals begin on Friday, Conference Carolinas has released the men's lacrosse all-conference winners.
The head coaches of the league selected the all-conference winners. Two seniors from Mount Olive have received second team all-conference for their hard work this season being Benjamin Vanderkley and Nicolas Logue.

A senior from Beaumont, Alberta Canada was awarded second team for attack where he collected 26 goals and nine assists in conference play, racking up 35 total goals and 10 total assists overall. He also collected 16 ground balls overall causing a total of five turnovers, finishing the season with a SOG% of .685. Vanderkley completed all four years as a student athlete at UMO where he played in 53 games with 47 starts, dishing out a whopping 103 goals total and contributed 35 assists, collecting a 76 ground balls, causing a total of 16 turnovers. 

Senior, Nicolas Logue, a face-off specialist from Centennial, Colo., was also awarded second team all-conference. Logue won a total of 167 out of his 279 face-offs this season where he also contributed 2 assists. He collected a total of 73 ground balls this year with a game high of 11 against Barton. Overall, Logue played 47 games starting in 15 the past four years at Mount Olive where he hit a milestone 100 ground balls and even had one caused turnover his junior year. 

Unfortunately for the Trojans they will not be competing is post season after a loss against Barton College Tuesday evening.
