Wilson, NC - The No. 20 University of Mount Olive men's golf team maintained solid play through the final round of the Barton Intercollegiate. Despite the windy conditions, they came out with a two stroke win.

- The Trojans (6th in region, 20th in nation) won the tournament by two strokes over rival Barton College.
- Patrick Schweitz led the way for the Trojans with a 147 total in tough conditions to secure a very respectable second place finish.
- Harry Bayley made up ground on day two in a wonderful round of three under par 69, which included an eagle on the 10th hole (par 4).
- Four Trojans finished inside the top 15 for the tournament.
