GAME ONE
- The Trojans recorded the first run of the game in the top of the third inning as junior Kayla Allen singled to bring in sophomore Charlene Thompson and give UMO a 1-0 advantage.
- UMO increased its lead to two in the top of the fourth with a base hit by senior JenniBeth Burge that scored freshman Kelsey Hayes.
- In the bottom of the seventh, North Greenville cut the Trojans' lead in half at 2-1 on a RBI double, but the Crusaders could draw no closer in UMO's 2-1 victory.
KEY STATS GAME 1
- Freshman Karen Foley (2-8) pitched six innings, allowing just one run on one hit, striking out six in the win.
- Five Trojans recorded a hit with Allen, Burge, Foley, Thompson, and junior Anna Ingram all recording one hit.
GAME TWO
- Like the first game, UMO scored first in game two on a RBI single by Foley in the top of the first, scoring Thompson to push the Trojans ahead 1-0.
- NGU responded in the bottom half of the first with a RBI triple and a two-run home run that gave the Crusaders a 3-1 lead.
- After the opening inning, UMO was held to just one hit over the final six innings as North Greenville earned the 3-1 win.
KEY STATS GAME 2
- Allen, Foley, and Ingram all recorded a hit for UMO, while Thompson earned two walks in the second game.
