FIRST QUARTER
- Mount Olive fell behind in the first as Florida Tech jumped out to a 3-0 lead with 10:42 left in the quarter.
- Austin Whitlow stopped the bleeding 44 seconds later as he scored an unassisted goal.
- The Trojans then went on to tie the game at three after goals from Skyler King and Luke Dalman.
- Florida Tech regained the momentum heading into the second quarter as the Panthers scored the final goal of the first to take a 4-3 lead.
SECOND QUARTER
- Mount Olive was outscored in the second quarter 5-to-2 as FT held onto the momentum they gained in the second pushing their lead to 9-5 heading into the break.
THIRD QUARTER
- Cody Graden started a 3-0 run by the Trojans to begin the third as Mount Olive drew to within one, however the Panthers pushed back to a two-goal lead with over six minutes remaining.
FOURTH QUARTER
- The Trojans made a push in the final quarter, as down 11-9 Jacob Ball scored two of his four goals in a 4-0 run by Mount Olive to finish out the game to give the home team the 13-11 win.
KEY STATS
- Ball led the Trojans' offense with four goals.
- Defensively, freshman Tim Collins led the way with five groundballs.
- Junior Will Urban (3-0) earned the victory in between the pipes with 15 saves.
